In November last year, an agreement on the export of peanuts was signed between the quarantine services of Uzbekistan and China.
In order to create even greater amenities and benefits, an agreement was signed within the framework of this document for the delivery of these products by road through the territories of third countries.
Now, domestic entrepreneurs can freely transport peanuts to China through the border checkpoints Alanshankou (by rail), Khorgos of Kazakhstan, Irkeshtam and Turgart of Kyrgyzstan (by road).
Currently, 10 exporting enterprises of Uzbekistan meet the phytosanitary requirements of China.
Among the requirements is the joint registration of fields on which peanuts, workshops and warehouses for the production and storage of peanuts are grown, as well as the exclusion of pests inherent in this crop.
